Once we released this, we didn’t see any imediate impact — as we expected to be so. These principles are a set of aspirations where we want to be in the future.

But, slowly, people starting to have a discussion that touches with the principles from time to time. For example, a few weeks ago, I heard people started to discuss, “How much of progressive disclosure should we apply here?” or “Do we even need to apply it in this context?”

None of the principles actually give a direct answer, but it helps people to have a shared knowledge and language. Our hope is that every team will starting to create their own mini principles derived from this one
